We are beyond excited to introduce Michael Gallus as the new Lead Coach of our Under 18.5 Girls program for the 2025 season!

With a wealth of experience and a strong passion for women’s football, Michael brings a diverse and impressive background to the role. A true pioneer in girls’ footy, Michael has spent the last decade coaching across schools such as Genazzano, Overnewton, and Penleigh & Essendon Grammar Schools, as well as in the EDFL competition. He is currently the Head of PE and coach of the girls’ footy program at Christway College Wyndhamvale.

Michael’s qualifications speak for themselves—he is a Level 2 Accredited AFL Coach and will soon be leading the Pakistan National Men’s and Women’s AFL teams at the Asian AFL Championships. He also brings invaluable experience from his time as a recruiter for the Brisbane Lions, covering the U18 and VFL elite pathway competitions.

Michael’s expertise, leadership, and passion for developing young talent will be a great asset to our club. We are thrilled to have him on board and are confident that he will inspire and elevate our Under 18.5 Girls team to new heights in 2025!
