In 2022 the Point Cook Football Club announced that in honour of Massimo D’Ambrosio being the first Point Cook Junior drafted into the AFL, the Club had created an award in his Name.
The Massimo D’Ambrosio Award will be awarded to the player deemed the best performed junior player at the Point Cook Football Club during the Home and Away Season.
